drabble : job
Lorenzo’s used to be located in the bend of one of City’s many cobblestone streets. It isn’t there anymore, but whenever Karl walks by the place, he’s unwittingly transported back.
Those double shifts, man, making enough latte to fill up Alzette - while also using the live band’s stage on Thursday nights to improve his deliveries. Lorenzo’s was where it all took off.
The punchline being, of course, that one night a producer walked in for a tall macchiato and just two weeks later, Karl signed a contract with local TV.
Since then, he’s only made coffee with milk for himself.
